Manager, Joe Fresh Finance

Why is this role important?

The Manager will work very closely with the Director, Joe Fresh Finance and additional senior members of the Joe Fresh management team, including the President.

The Manager will prepare financial analyses to support strategic and operational business functions and will work closely with Loblaw Digital to manage the financial budget for the Joe Fresh eCommerce business.

Accountabilities: Prepare financial planning and analyses within the Joe Fresh business.

Includes periodic forecasting, analyzing variances, and assisting with the 3-Year Strategy and annual Budget.

Prepare and manage the full P&L for the Joe Fresh eCommerce business and partner with Loblaw Digital on key strategic initiatives.

Work cross-functionally with various groups to ensure a seamless rollout of eCommerce projects.

Working closely with the Management Team members, the Manager will lead the budgeting and forecasting process for administrative expenses.

Prepare financial reports and other materials for Joe Fresh’s Internal Periodic Business Review and the Loblaw Corporate Period Review.

Identify opportunities and participate in improving financial and operational processes.

Assist with special ad-hoc projects and analyses for the Joe Fresh Management Team and Loblaw Corporate teams as required.

Responsible for managing and coaching one direct report.

Role Requirements: 5 years previous experience in a related role, specifically focused on Financial Planning and Analysis activities such as Budgeting and Forecasting Strong business acumen, with an ability to focus on continuous improvement Self-starter who works well in a team, as well as with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Quality driven and detail oriented Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills; can see the “big picture” in a complex environment Proficient with Excel and Power Point, and experience in financial modeling Proficiency with SAP and Microstrategy would be an asset Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation would be an asset.
