INEOS Styrolution employs approximately 3,500 people and operates 20 production sites in ten countries.Purpose/Role of the job: To install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical equipment, associated electrical and electronic controls, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

This position is within the Sarnia Site bargaining unit.Environment/Context/Complexity of the job: * Understand and ensure the 20 Principles of Behavioral and Process Safety are followed.* Communicate and champion the 20 Safety Principles to empower and enable others.* Preserve high standards of housekeeping and organization.Maintain safety, housekeeping and environmental standards in all day-to-day activities.Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the job: * Problem solving and troubleshooting electrical issues.* Identification of reliability and optimization opportunities.* Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs for site electrical systems.* Assist in installation of new electrical equipment.* Maintain site electrical systems including:o High voltage equipmento Motors and motor controlso DC and variable speed driveso Instrumentation* Interfacing with other discipline teams.* Maintain accurate and timely records within SAP and Time & Attendance systems.Level of Education & Knowledge* High School diploma or equivalent * Post-secondary diploma in a related field (ICET) would be an asset.* Completion of the Electrician Construction and Maintenance Apprenticeship or equivalent.* Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship.* Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in an Industrial setting.Experience in general: * Working knowledge of engineering design specifications is required.* Reading, interpreting, and revising schematic drawings and documentation.

* Installing, maintaining, and repairing of lighting systems.

* Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power distribution systems.

* Selecting, installing, and maintaining batteries and battery chargers (UPS systems).* Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems.* Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting rotating equipment.

* Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting motor drive systems.

* Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting microprocessor-based systems.

Technical skills:* Sound electrical aptitude and technical knowledge.* Good interpersonal and communications skills.* Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.* A demonstrated commitment to Safety, Health & Environment principles.Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office and SAP PPM module: SAP notifications, orders, PPM, and scheduling activities.
