He must understand how the technologies interact with the process and propose applicable solutions.

Experience in the oil & gas industry is an asset.Duties and ResponsibilitiesInteract with customers and analyze requirements.Prepare engineering design reviews for projects.Prepare project quotes.Solve technical design problems.Carry out the technical design of projects.Provide technical assistance to the sales team.Negotiate contract amendments.Manage project to deliver according to our policies and terms negotiated with the customer (schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction).Collaborate with other departments.

Technical qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or physical or electrical)Member of “Professional Engineers Ontario”Good knowledge of analytical instrumentation:Gas analyzer (infrared, Process photometer, oxygen, thermal conductivity, FID, other)FTIR analyzerProcess gas chromatographSampling systemProcess mass spectrometerCEMSKnowledge of hazardous location classificationKnowledge of the ISA instrumentation symbols and identification (ISA-5.1)Knowledge of the protocols and performance specification 1/PG/7Knowledge of rules on air quality and pollution in OntarioKnowledge and experience in integration of analytical instruments.
