JOB SUMMARY

This contact center technology leadership role is responsible to lead the CEC Center of Excellence Product Management and Custom Applications team to deliver product and strategic outcomes via full end-to-end Agile and Kanban methodologies for business-as-usual and innovative solutions with annual roadmap delivery in partnership with Global Technology, CEC Operations, Channels and Self-Service, Network Administration, and Global Infrastructure. He/she/they ensure(s) high caliber customer and associate satisfaction experiences for CEC partners, internal and external stakeholders. He/she/they enables a positive collaborative work environment that empowers positive associate well-being, diversity, inclusion, and cross-collaboration to empower the execution of optimal strategic solutions and CEC business outcomes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required

  • 6+ years’ experience in information technology application design or development
  • 3+ years’ technology product experience in supporting Contact Center systems (i.e., Workforce Management, Quality Monitoring, Training, Data Insights/Analytics, telephony and channels platforms, Self-Service Automation, or equivalent ticket tracking systems, etc.)
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology and tools including JIRA.
  • Skilled at converting business needs into technology requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action
  • Excellent communicator, both written and spoken. Must be able to explain product vision, business objective, technical feasibility, define requirements, and technical implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines

Preferred

  • Experience in managing product managers, business systems analysts, engineers, and front end and .NET full stack developers
  • Customization and execution of governance models, process and performance management systems (i.e. COPC, ISO, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Marriott’s existing information architecture, application portfolio, and information management methodology

Education and Experience

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum software development practice

Technical Product Owner

  • Maintain a well-groomed product backlog of features to include refined user stories with solid technical solutions that are ready for development
  • Help define new product features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into product roadmaps
  • Support the definition of guest service product requirements and development of the product roadmap
  • Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, and wire-frames to support development
  • Coordinate with support teams for defect resolution
