This is a Contract position in Sarnia, ON posted April 30, 2021.

Job Overview: The RTV Clerk ensures inventory reports are kept accurate by making the appropriate computer adjustments for returned product and facilitates the processing of defective and/or returned products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Investigates product damage or defect complaints including assessing responsibility and negotiating with supplier for replacement or credit Ensures RTV storage areas are properly maintained.

With approval from their Manager, takes appropriate action to clear dated merchandise Keys in inventory adjustments for product that is being returned to vendors and/or back into stock Returns product to store ensuring merchandise is in re-saleable condition and properly merchandised on the shelf and/or bin Contacts vendor to request replacement parts, inspect merchandise that is defective and review warranty issues Stores product to be repaired or picked up.

Informs vendor of time deadline and culls all past due product.

Arranges for in-store repair if available Tracks reasons for returns and informs ICA of chronic problems Provides assistance to Receiver organizing storage area, documenting receipt of goods and tagging special orders Performs other job-related duties as required.

Job Requirements Qualifications: Understanding of the computerized inventory system Ability to look product up on computer and make the required RTV Detail and solution-oriented with a strong sense of urgency in responding to problems Good organization and housekeeping skills with the ability to keep the RTV area orderly Adhere to vendor RTV policies Self-motivated and able to work independently Has excellent knowledge of special order products and ordering procedures Has very good interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills
