Data Services will manage CEC & Group Sales data and maintain affiliated reporting platforms. This will include managing the current structure of reporting platforms, as well as implementing new features to each platform. The Data steward will work directly with the Business Analytics team to determine data requirements to support business operations and analytical needs. The Data stewards will source the requisite data, model the data, and ensure data hygiene practices support quality data. The Data steward will work with enterprise data architects and enterprise data warehousing teams to ensure compliance with architectural standards as well as the most efficient implementations.


Education and Experience

  • Advanced SQL Query Skills in at least one SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Informix, Teradata, Netezza.
  • Proven knowledge SQL Server including SSMS.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite of products.
  • Experience in Database Management, relational database and NoSQL structures and research methods.
  • Experience in ETL development Tools (SQL Server Integration Services, Informatica, etc.)
  • Experience with BI platforms (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI)
  • Ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on business needs.


  • Moving data from various sources through direct pipeline, flat files, API, and Scripts to SQL platforms, Vendor repositories, Cloud platforms, and data lakes
  • Design various processes for success. Relational data architecture design, schema design, and data workflow automation design.
  • Communicates with stakeholders and BA leadership to gather requirements and timeline for requests
  • Conducts routine reviews of existing data pipelines to standardize and optimize speed/functionality
  • Ensures data is accessible by appropriate user groups, and in an appropriate structure to it’s use case
  • Prepare the detailed systems specifications for translations into structured applications with the necessary interfaces into other systems or across platforms.
  • Build statistical models, predictive forecasts, natural language processing (NLP) models.
  • Builds SQL and Python code to collect relevant and reliable data
  • Uses Alteryx to automate workflows and generate audits
  • Update and rebuild existing data pipelines, as business needs change
  • Organize, coordinate and conduct system integration testing.
  • Identifies any underlying, fundamental gaps or design flaws and escalates to leadership
  • Creates documentation to help facilitate future research
