This is a Full-time position in Sarnia, ON posted July 21, 2021.

Our client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor.Type: Permanent positionResponsibilities: Ensure all processes/operations in production are executed in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures Ensure production schedule is being followed Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process Identify and communicate issues related to quality Manage and develop production employees to achieve established goals of safety, environmental performance, production volume, quality and cost Understand, support and adhere to the company’s health and safety policies, and procedures by communicating and promoting health and safety awareness Aid in process/production efficiency improvements by investigating, tracking, and gathering data SAP entry and monitoring of inventory levels in relation to SAP Establishing baselines, benchmarking and documenting current processes parameters.

Documenting changes and instructing others on how to achieve performance objectivesQualifications: 10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in a continuous process, chemical, or powder manufacturing plant will be advantageous.

5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience and demonstrable success of providing leadership in a unionized environment Self-starter; detail oriented with ability to manage multiple production processes simultaneously Proven problem-solving skills Mechanically oriented with a strong focus on process improvement Willingness to learn and develop new skill-sets.

General working knowledge of Microsoft Office (above average proficiency in Excel) Excellent planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization (written and oral).

Able to work with minimal guidance/supervision.
