Cashier Supervisor/ Admin Assistant

– Cashier Supervisor/ Admin Assistant Wage: $20/hour Victoria, BC
– Camosun College Monday
– Friday/ 7 am
– 3 pm Responsibilities
· Cash reconciliation for each till.

Prepare daily deposit and transport to bank.

Ensure that appropriate change levels are available for daily business.

Perform physical safe deposit a minimum of three times per week.

· Input sales information on a daily basis including customer counts.

· Input supplier invoices including updating all pricing.

Help with putting away orders at time of delivery if necessary.

Report any shortages to FSD and make sure all credits are received and reported.

· Print weekly inventory count sheets, count front end of inventory and other areas as needed.

Input physical counts into system.

Update location changes on and ongoing basis.

Print usage reports for FSD make any changes necessary.

· Input all payroll information into system including address and benefit changes.

Maintain staff files as necessary.

· Reconcile and prepare petty cash transactions for re-imbursement.

· Monitor and prepare temperature control sheets for all refrigeration units.

· Prepare all labels for food production.

Make sure all preparation is up to standard and proper rotation is followed.

· Delivery of all catering, pick up of all equipment at the conclusion of function.

Assist FSD with the organization of all functions if necessary.

· Perform the billing of all catering functions.

Make sure that the sales are appropriately reported into system.

· Make sure all reports are ready for FSD approval and courier is complete for reporting deadlines.

· Help with any supplier orders as necessary.

· Help with supervision/training of staff.

Cover any front end duties that need to be done, stocking, covering cashier breaks, sickness.

Any housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and organization of unit.

· Any other general office duties that need to be done.

Qualifications Qualifications:
· Requires minimum 2 years of retail/food service operations management experience working in a high-volume hospitality environment
· Ability to work evening, weekends and holidays
· Requires management and leadership skills and the ability to work with confidential employee, client and Aramark information.

· Working knowledge of HACCP in a large volume facility
· Ability to communicate (listening, verbal and written) effectively with clients, customers and front line associates
· Ability to write letters, summaries and reports, using prescribed format and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
