Retail Operations Manager

Position Overview: Key Responsibilities: Our retail team in London is looking for a Retail Operations Manager.

This new team member will have oversight of all Operations across EU Stores and will collaborate with Global Retail Operations, Store teams and local partners to ensure that Store operating infrastructures are optimal and conducive to sustainable Commercial growth.

Consumer-centric and solution-driven, the Retail Operations Manager will work towards achieving consistency and compliance, yet retaining the operational agility required to maximize Store-related KPIS in the short to medium term.

The Retail Operations Manager will radiate leadership and integrity, able to both inspire action among Store teams and develop sound solutions in aligning Store Operations to deliver on the long-term Commercial Strategy.

Key Responsibilities : Store Inventory Management Leverage strong inventory management to balance the delivery of short-term Commercial KPIS and the long-term Commercial strategy.

Partner with Store teams to analyze product performance and depth on an ongoing basis, in order to identify replenishment and product opportunities.

Leverage the support of Planning and Logistics partners in ensuring we are able to react to product opportunities, through timely replenishments and RTVs.

Coordinate in-Store Operational activities such as shipments and RTVs across a large number of stakeholders, providing clear direction and guidance on expectation.

Stakeholders include but are not limited to Store and Retail leadership as well as Planning and Logistics partners.

Invest time in developing BOH product placement plans designed to optimize Commercial upselling, as well as space and ease of access for Store teams.

Compliance and Loss Prevention Uphold operational compliance throughout the handling of inventory and cash, measuring success through efficiency and loss prevention metrics.

Instil best-practises in Store teams throughout the handling of stock and cash, through trainings and enforcements of standing operating procedures (SOPs).

Implement and oversee frequent cycle counts conducted by Store teams as well as reporting for all cash movements.

Investigate any variances (of stock or cash) and partner with Store teams or Loss Prevention partners in identifying measures to minimize them.

Take ownership and accountability for annual Store-wide inventory audits, coordinating communication across stakeholders and being present to support and supervise Store-teams in execution.

Proactive Store Support Be present and offer pro-active support to Store teams, understanding the importance of communication in both remaining up-to-date and reactive, and inspiring immediate action.

Take ownership of the Retail Operations aspect of the workback-schedule during new Store openings, from beginning to end of the Store set-up, engaging internal and external business partners when required.

Review Store payroll, scheduling and other time-keeping submissions, ensuring accuracy and offering guidance on cost-minimization and optimal resource allocation.

Coordinate and maintain adequate levels of Store supplies and packaging.

Align Store Operations to ensure the successful execution of new projects or initiatives, partnering cross-functionally where necessary.

Work collaboratively with the Global Retail Operations team, advocating the needs of the local consumer, facilitating communications with Store teams and sharing recommendations on process optimization and best-practise.

Experience, Education and Designations: 2 years of Retail Operations management experience within a Luxury / Premium Brand Experience in a fast-paced Store environment or an equivalent consumer-facing role Experience working with large teams / networks would be a strong plus Experience working within a cross-functional environment Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Solution driven, hands-on and impact-orientated.
